When I was scouting I wasnt concerned with how a guy reacted when he had success I was more interested in how he handled failure-I scouted a game to see 1 player and his teammate hit a bomb-he was the only 1 that didnt get up and shake his hand-OFF MY LIST

When you run ground balls out trust me you put pressure on the defense-it is harder to play defense knowing the runner is running as hard as he can-Ive seen too many high throws by infielders rushing their throw because the guy was running hard-COMPETEwCONFIDENCE
Coaches if your players are playing with Tension Anxiety and Pressure you better make sure that you’re not coaching with Tension Anxiety and Pressure they might be feeding off of you-Our players need to play with Calmness Toughness and Focus the same way we need to be coaching 👊
