Today, our AI team hit a huge milestone; we finally deployed our stable reinforcement learning placer in production! In 3 months we plan to progressively improve its generalization by rolling out more intelligent foundational models, until 100% of our PCB placement is done by AI

Our AI placer is now capable of handling bypass capacitors and other schematics-respecting component constraints! Production blew up today due to some race conditions- we’ve addressed them and these changes will be live by the end of the week 🫨
