Yeah! You never SAID anything offensive. Thing is: The outfit is discriminative against north african and middle eastern people. Please don't victimize yourself. You aren't the victim. We aren't shooting you. It's just that people need to be more educated on this topic.

You've completely misunderstood the point. Yes, the art and the artstyle are pretty. Thing is, they're also contributing towards a massive pre-existent stereotype. (And the fanfiction it was inspired by is also guilty of it.) It's racist.

It's just that this drawing in particular happened to be offensive to north african and middle eastern people, an issue which needed to be addressed. I don't dislike them over it, either. And stop trying to trying to go to other topics. It doesn't help with anything.

The fanfiction itself is the equivalent of a racist caricature. People supporting it are either a bit too uneducated on the matter or just racist, too.

The reason you just listed is of high importance, actually! For your case, it was made with the central idea of love. With the design at hand, it's hurtful, as it silenced the actual culture for exoticism and depravity. But, like I said earlier, it's not the artist's fault.

Again, I am not harrassing or insulting anybody. I believe the artists has the best of intentions. The issue is that both the fanfiction and the designs are highly problematic. Whether the creator deletes their post and apologises is, in the end, up to them.
