So excited to have the last of my postdoc research as a @SchmidtFellows out in @ScienceAdvances! These are some of the neatest “sensorized”materials I’ve 3D printed! Loved working with Lilly Chin and Annan Zhang on this work.

New 3D-printed materials that sense their own motion could be useful in flexible robots or wearable devices. Air-filled channels deform when the material is squeezed or stretched, and measuring the air pressure reveals how the structure is deforming. mitsha.re/SIXz50KhN7H
