This is not OK! IMO the base runner was looking to inflict harm on the catcher. Why he wasn’t immediately ejected by the umpire is beyond me. He seemed to be proud of what he did and that has to be addressed. @MLB players are not allowed to do this which is another story but

Hold up! Are you telling me that a player who consistently gets jammed and hits the ball on the label which used to be a sign of someone who couldn’t hit now gets rewarded for getting jammed with a TORPEDO shaped bat? What are we doing @MLB Are we honestly to the point where

Is this what @NCAABaseball is now? Everyone talking 💩💩💩 My guess is the batter hasn’t played much and he’s overly enthusiastic about getting the chance to play. That being said it’s not a good look when you’re team is losing 8-1 especially when he takes a 3-1 fastball right

We have failed these kids! @PerfectGameUSA promotes this behavior and the coaches are no better. @MLB has promoted the #LetTheKidsPlay initiative and it has trickled down to youth baseball. It’s all about self promotion and poor sportsmanship now. #shegone

If you want to know why @MLB stinks look no further than the people running these teams. This guy took a Saber metrics course in college and was hired as an intern. The 2 catchers he mentions have career BA’s of (.226) & (.212) #shegone @AMBS_Kernan @RVGDag @Marlins @MLBNetwork
