Please don’t turn this into a glorified “shes so strong” narrative. No CHILD should be at a protest about her own life. This is SAD, not a story of bravery.
Maybe it’s just me, maybe it’s because I’m a Black Woman, but this movie didn’t hit that deeply for me. Felt like it was mainly a movie for white women idk.
A woman shot her shot with me last night, we got to talking today, realized we both had non-negotiables in each other, were honest about it, and parted ways.
That had to be the healthiest and quickest turnaround I’ve experienced so far. I’m impressed tbh lol
