Not too keen on drama but this same guy has scammed multiple people and rebranded more than once to keep up this fraudulent management. He takes advantages of his players and staff and makes promises with no intention of keeping them.

Because it's disingenuous to lead a designer on to the point of sending and invoice and then completely cutting comms.
This specific situation aside it shows a complete lack of integrity to opt into replacing humans that learned a skill with "the cheaper option".
