Even if you die tomorrow, the sun will rise and set, the people who love you the most will lead their lives. Sure they’ll be sad, they’ll miss you & talk about you every day, but their world will still exist. You just won’t be in it anymore. This life is first & foremost yours.

The hate for Maithili Thakur of all candidates is amusing to me. They say they want young leaders but Maithili who sings Bhajans & folk songs, who’s attached to her roots & culture isn’t the ‘Gen Z’ leader they want Meanwhile her, unbothered, happy with her craft & her victory

True romance is this. Easy conversations, some teasing, some intellectual sparring, looks and smiles. But corporates made you believe romance was in over the top gifts and cards and grand gestures which need consumerism and promote consumption.

So much of what we see and understand in this world is our perception of it. I see a teacher being cute and silly so that little children can laugh and be silly with her. OP sees something inappropriate because his brain is only wired to sexualize women.

I can understand women officers in the protection group for a woman VIP, but there’s no reason for women officers in this case . Men have faster reaction and movement times on average. Men are also on average physically stronger than women. We don’t need to DEI everything.

At the risk of sounding cruel, this is the kind of pressure that parents put which makes children think failing an exam is akin to the end of life. Poor kid seems to have better emotional regulation than her mother.

Heartbreaking video.💔🥲 Condition of Parents who came along with their daughter for the UPSC Prelims exam today, as their daughter was not allowed for being late. Exam starts at 9: 30 am, and they were at the gate at 9 am but were not allowed in by the principal of S.D. Adarsh

Talked to a non Indian friend today & she mentioned a breathing exercise that helps her with anxiety. Asked her what it was & she called it Bumble Bee exercise. She went on to basically describe Bhramari Pranayam. In 10 years Indians are going to call it Bumble Bee aren’t they?

The only reason Vidit is being called an Islamophobe is because he expressed sadness about the attacks on Hindu and Hindu temples in Bangladesh. Aggressor and Victim all rolled into one. Tells you all you need to know about the concept of Islamophobia in general.

What is interesting in this photo is that Nikhil Nanda who by all accounts is separated from his wife is part of the ‘family photo’. Meanwhile Aishwarya Rai and her daughter are by themselves. If there ever was a clear representation of mindset, this would be it.
