Github Copilot Agent interactive code changes not working #345342

Title: Github Copilot Agent not asking 'Approve' | 'Undo' for code changes anymore
On Thursday last (Oct 29th 2026) Github Copilot Agent had done a sudden feature change. Now upon code change, it is not
asking for 'Approve' | 'Undo' for every code block it changes.
Earlier, going through each changes the developer could review the code changes and then approves or reject it directly on VS Code editor.
Consider this scenario. Suppose developer runs two different code change request, and he is okay with 1st change, but he is not okay with the 2nd code change. How he can reject or undo only the second code change?
This is a quite a frustrating change forced upon developers abruptly without any proper warning or announcements. What a pity!

Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code; the latest stable release is 1.144.0. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.
