2001
Aztec is Founded! Simon started the company as a hobby, operating from a spare bedroom and initially supporting friends and family.
2010
Growth into Managed Services. Aztec expands beyond break-fix work to deliver proactive Managed Services to larger businesses.
2015
Aztec is now managing increasingly complex multi-server environments and a wide range of businesses across the UK.
2020
During Covid, remote working explodes. Aztec deepens its cloud and hybrid expertise which will become Modern Working.
2024
Aztec expands its cyber, cloud and project teams to address the ever increasing cyber threats that businesses face.
2005
With the support from Louise and a change in circumstances, Aztec goes 'Full Time' and supporting local businesses becomes the focus.
2011
Secures support & services contract for CheckaTrade, initially for 34 users which increased to 550 before the business sold in 2017.
2018
ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 accreditation are achieved that formalise the high standards already embedded in the business.
2023
4 Day Working Week trial completed for staff wellbeing. This morphs into a 9 day fortnight which we still operate today.
2025
Aztec creates a German Speaking support desk as more European and German businesses partner with us for transformation projects.
