Hi, my name is Chris.
I help people just like you become more productive—not in ways that promise to help you hustle yourself to a state of burnout or just create more work for yourself, but in ways that help you become more intentional about what's actually important every day.
↑ that's me
We all have such a limited amount of time every day, and over the course of our life—so why not try to optimize that time so we can not only accomplish more but also live a more meaningful life?
It all started over a decade ago, when I graduated from business school. I had a few full-time job offers waiting—but I figured if there was ever a moment to experiment with something I was deeply curious about, it was right then. So I declined every one. The decision was impossible to explain to my grandmother and my parents. It didn't make sense to most people. But I would have regretted not doing it.
That year, I ran countless productivity experiments on myself—using my own life as the lab to figure out what it actually takes to be optimally productive. The experiments became my first book, The Productivity Project, which sent me on a decade-long course of experimenting, researching, and writing about the topic.

Four books on becoming more intentional.
Each one came out of a stretch of research and experimentation on a different facet of productivity—from time management to attention, from burnout and anxiety to the science of goal attainment.

Listen on Audible →Overcoming Procrastination.
A course on putting some of these ideas into practice—and on how to overcome procrastination, specifically. It's a side thing, but if it's helpful, it's there.

I love giving keynote speeches and workshops on becoming more productive—it's one of my favourite parts of my job. I get to take the ideas I write about and share them live, usually in a pretty interactive way.
