Introduction:

Diskloop, Inc. acts as both a distributor and a reseller, offering a wide selection of IT hardware from trusted manufacturers. While we connect you with quality products, we do not manufacture, alter, or independently guarantee the items we offer.

We aim to provide accurate product information to help you make informed choices. However, Diskloop does not offer any express or implied warranties, including those of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. 

All warranty coverage, service commitments, repair obligations, and replacement terms are provided solely by the applicable product manufacturer. Customers must submit any warranty claims, technical service requests, or product defect notifications directly to the manufacturer in accordance with that manufacturer’s warranty policies and procedures.

The following warranty policies provide further details regarding coverage, claim processes, and limitations.

Refurbished Product Warranty:

Diskloop provides a limited thirty day replacement warranty for products designated and sold as Certified Refurbished. 

If a Certified Refurbished product is found to be defective due to hardware malfunction under normal use conditions, the following remedies may apply, at Diskloop’s sole discretion:

  • The product may be repaired.
  • A replacement unit of equal or comparable specifications may be provided.

This limited warranty is valid for 30 calendar days from the original purchase date as reflected on the order confirmation or invoice. 

Manufacturer Warranty:

Certain products sold by Diskloop may be covered by a limited manufacturer’s warranty lasting up to one (1) year or more. It depends on the specific brand and product category. Diskloop does not manage, process, or fulfill warranty services that are issued by third-party manufacturers. The manufacturer's warranty range applies:

  • Customers should contact the manufacturer directly for any queries, such as warranty claims, repair services, or product replacements.
  • Warranty terms, coverage limitations, and service procedures are defined exclusively by the respective manufacturer and may differ by brand. 
  • Some of the products become non-returnable once the original packaging or security seal has been opened, including sealed retail-packaged products

For complete warranty information relating to a specific product, customers should review the manufacturer’s official website or the documentation supplied with the product.

Duration Of Warranty:

Items whose warranties have expired will not be eligible for replacements or returns.

You should consult the product documentation or the manufacturer’s website for further information concerning warranty periods.

The time period starts on the delivery date, as shown on the invoice.

Claims Protocol:

To start a warranty claim:

    • Receive an RMA Number: Complete the RMA form or send an email to rma@diskloop.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
    • Package the item securely: Maintain all accessories, manuals, and the original proof of purchase.

Service Standards And Limitations: 

While Diskloop, Inc. (“Diskloop”) attempts to supply reliable products and reasonable warranty support, the Company does not ensure or represent that its services will:

  • Fulfil every individual customer requirement or preference.
  • Operate without interruption, delay, security risks, or technical errors.
  • Satisfy all subjective customer expectations.
  • Resolve all software-related issues or program malfunctions.

Diskloop’s responsibility under this policy is expressly limited to product repair, replacement, or refund, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable warranty. 

Customer Obligations: 

Customers are responsible for ensuring proper installation, routine maintenance, and appropriate use of all purchased products.

Any damage caused by improper use, neglect, excessive operation, modification, or unauthorized service or repair will invalidate warranty coverage. The warranty does not cover software issues or data loss resulting from viruses, compatibility issues, configuration errors, or incorrect installation. 

Liability Restrictions:

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Diskloop shall not be held responsible for:

  • Damage resulting from external factors, improper installation, misuse, carelessness, or unauthorised alteration or repair of the product.
  • Any indirect, unexpected, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or interruption of business operations.
  • Financial or operational losses related to system downtime, business disruption, revenue loss, or data corruption.

For oversized shipments, including monitors or televisions measuring over 37 inches, a person aged eighteen years or older must be present to accept and sign for delivery. Any shipping-related damage must be reported within two business days of receipt to qualify for review or claim consideration.

Warranty Exclusions:

The warranty does not apply under the following circumstances:

  • Absence of original accessories, documentation, elements, or packaging materials.
  • Software-related concerns, including reinstallation requirements or compatibility disagreements.
  • Damage resulting from incorrect installation, improper handling, carelessness, or unauthorized third-party servicing.
  • System issues caused by viruses, malware, or other malicious software.
  • Use of non-approved, incompatible, or unsupported hardware or software components.
  • Shipping damage that is not reported within two business days following delivery.
