Introduction

The hackathon is a full-day event focused on building creative and practical solutions across four themed tracks. Teams will collaborate to design, develop, and present working prototypes that solve real problems in areas such as healthcare, finance, productivity, and open innovation. The goal is to learn, create, and demonstrate impactful ideas within a single day of focused teamwork and experimentation.

Tools and Technologies

Participants can use any programming languages, frameworks, APIs, or platforms that best fit their chosen track and project idea. Teams are encouraged to pick tools they already know well so they can focus on creativity, functionality, and usability instead of setup or configuration issues. The most successful projects will use technology in a clear, efficient, and meaningful way.

Inspiration

Use the Hackathon Tracks Document as a starting point to explore prompts and example problems. Think about real challenges faced by people in your community, on campus, or in your field of study. Look for ways to improve access, efficiency, and understanding through simple and well-designed solutions. The best ideas often come from identifying small but meaningful problems and building practical tools to address them.
