Jackett is an app that helps you search for and download torrent files from the Internet. The app acts as an intermediary between download portals and torrent clients. To do this, it integrates content trackers such as Sonarr, Radarr and Lidarr, and translates requests so that torrent clients can utilize them. The app supports hundreds of public, private and semi-private trackers, including many for general content and others for specific content.

After installation, Jackett is controlled through a web interface. There, you can add as many trackers as you like, configure them with your account, and test the connection to see if they work correctly. By doing so, you can configure content searches.

After reviewing the results, you can click on the name of the content to go to the web page where it is hosted, or you can directly hit the magnet link button to download it through your preferred torrent manager. For each torrent there is data such as the file size or the number of people sharing it.

Jackett is respectful of users' privacy, as it does not store any activity history. What you do have to be careful with is downloading torrents, since there the IP address is public, and there are countries that track for user activity.
