Although a lesser sought-out subject for me, I am fully capable of creating graphical pieces when required. Here are what few examples I have to show at present.
“DON’T BE A BUTT!” – Anti-Cigarette Litter Poster (June 2021)
Douglas Borough Council held a competition to create a poster to discourage litter related to cigarettes, stating:
‘Smoking-related litter has a hugely detrimental impact on the environment; it blights our streets and green spaces and projects a deeply negative image of our town The council does all it can to keep the streets of Douglas clean, but the general public must also play their part. In short, cigarette littering is a community problem that demands a community response.‘
This led to my design. I came up with the idea of being a little immature to drill in the message that people shouldn’t drop their cigarette butts in public or, as I so delicately put it, “Don’t Be a Butt!”

My poster won. The above sample was my entry, and I was informed they would add their logo to it. I saw a brief draft at the prize ceremony and was told to look out for them on the street.
It took a while, but around November 2022, I started spotting them on the streets, gracing bins and signposts with their message.
This is merely a selection of some of the ones I found around the Town Centre. They keep popping up here and there, which is humbling, to say the least.
Transformers: Prime – Galvatron’s Revenge Tech Specs (2015-2016 & 2022)
These were requested of me at a point I wasn’t needed for Storyboarding. I was tasked with developing a modern take on the older Transformers toy technical specification sheets you’d get.
I quickly saw a specific style that was obvious, but for Transformers Prime, I felt the tech specs on the boxes were weak, so I completely redesigned them to be more high-tech and contemporary.
Earlier renders I was given were on a grey background, so I needed to cut out the character carefully. The other part of my job is working out their stats and making a basic bio and quote for the director to review and correct as needed.
All three designs are now in use. The final one for the Destructicons (the purple design) has customised bars as the characters involved are insanely powerful compared to the other factions, which were also implemented for the powerhouse combiner character revealed.
I also was asked to create one with multiple characters on (the Vehicons) as the Autobots use them a lot in the upcoming film, so I worked out a layout with the vehicon renders I was given. Initially, I thought of having 4 of them (2 jet and 2 car based vehicons), but the blue glow on them was hectic, one of them was too obscured due to the other’s wings, and the stats started to get obscured, so I dialled it back to only 3 (1 jet and 2 car vehicons).
New variants were created in June 2022 for Primus, Optimus Prime and Megatron, respectively. Optimus and Primus needed a new colour scheme for the Danger/Warning bars, while Megatron used the Decepticon base with the same warning bars as the Anti-Primes.
Transformers: Prime – Original Galvatron’s Revenge Poster (April 2016)
I also gave much input and advice towards creating and refining our promotional poster, which was released in April 2016. (pictured below)

Another graphic piece I conceptualised for TFPGR was a big 4-way connecting poster. It was designed for the “coming soon” phase of production but kind of petered out when funding wasn’t obtained for a properly rendered release. I may finish the idea post-animation faze as I still love the idea.
