Scrypt Pay is designed to integrate with various POS systems used by Pharmacies. Currently, Scrypt.Pay is integrated with Z Software, MINFOS, and FREDPOS+.

How does Scrypt Pay work for my customers?
With Scrypt Pay, you can send a payment request to your customers’ mobile phone via SMS. When the customer receives the SMS, it will include a secure URL-link that they can tap on and be directed to their invoice in a web browser. From here they will be guided through the checkout process, where they can review all the necessary details about what they are paying for, then securely enter their card details to process the payment. Once the payment is successfully completed, a digital receipt can be stored or downloaded.

Yes, there is a setup and integration process required to start using Scrypt Pay. Once approved for CommBank Smart Health for Pharmacies, our team will assist you in integrating Scrypt Pay with your existing POS system and provide guidance throughout the setup process with some initial training.
How secure is Scrypt Pay in handling customer card details and payments?
Scrypt Pay prioritises the security of customer card details and payments. We utilise CommBank’s industry-standard security measures to encrypt and protect sensitive information. All card details are securely transmitted and stored in compliance with Australian Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirements.
What areas of my business is Scrypt Pay best used?
Any time a customer is not in store and is required to make a payment to the pharmacy. Therefore this is ideal for product shipping, home delivery, 3rd party collection (e.g. a family member picking up the medication for the pharmacy but is not responsible for making the payment), monthly debtor account payments, and any non face-to-face payment request.
How long does it take for payments made through Scrypt Pay to be deposited into my bank account?
Payments made through Scrypt Pay are deposited into your pharmacy’s bank account as a daily settlement. This ensures that you receive the funds quickly and efficiently. Payments are recorded in your POS system and will be a part of your trading report.
What are the costs associated with using Scrypt Pay for our pharmacy?

Will Scrypt Pay transactions be included in end-of-day trading report?
Yes, Scrypt Pay will be included in the end-of-day (or end-of-period) trading reports. However this is determined by your POS vendor and we recommend you confirm with their support team for guidance.
