Learning pathways
Concept courses
As a prerequisite for all other skill courses, this set of courses teach the foundational concepts you need to understand Hybrid Threat Finance™ (HTF) methodology and discipline.
Skills courses
Develop hands-on skills in alert review and case investigation, report and SAR writing, and data analytics, using public records data.
Mechanism courses
Learn to recognize and understand the patterns of various types of illicit finance transactions. These courses will build on lessons from the Concept and Skills courses.
Investigations
Knowing how to read and manage data and open-source repositories are key skills. This advanced course will teach you how to analyze and manage data sets and interpret public data assets.
Introduction to Hybrid Threat Finance Concepts
This comprehensive course provides illicit finance professionals – including those in banking, government, and law enforcement – with a foundational understanding of the Hybrid Threat Finance (HTF) framework. It is designed for those already familiar with general Anti-Money Laundering (AML) concepts.
