softwareangelIt's definitely been a hot minute since I typed up a blog post here... I do think I'm going to start making a comeback just based solely on the fact of the... general state of the internet. The AI nonsense is driving me absolutely insane. I thought I'd start using Instagram once more, but now it's ridden with horrific AI and slop, and other policy updates that's left me disgusted (allowing harassment of LGBT? hard pass on your shitty platform lol)
In any case, I'm starting to update my ART GALLERY once more! please consider checking it out, there's new comics, little traditional paintings... fun stuff!
I also updated both my webcomics, WASTELANDS and SPACEPALS !!! very proud of myself... im ready to make comics again haha Heres the latest pages of each!
Here's some of those little paintings I mentioned <3 I'd rather start uploading them here than on an AI content farm like insta lol
It's been nice to just relax and paint little things without worry of it turning out good or not... Gouache and i are like besties now haha!
In other news I also started a new job a little over a month ago... its genuinely like a dream come true! it works really well for my night-owl schedule and routine... its also just such a loving and supportive environment, i feel truly blessed and lucky that i found it.
2025 barely started, and i lost my dear sweet Badger [cardiac arrest in his sleep...] and I got into a car accident as well, but im determined to not let it bring me down. i want to stay resilient and strong moving forward.
in short i just look forward to posting on my own little dens ive dug here on the corners of the web, outside of large platforms. im tired of what the internets become... only thing you can do is make your own space, and make it the best fit for you as possible!
i gotta sleep now but i look forward to posting to dreamwidth more often again <3 see you later

the internet is a lot of everything but i think at the end of the day putting effort into ourselves and eachother, making space and meeting people!! that'll pull us through a lot of the way. it's progress that doesn't go away even if you change sites because it sticks to you as a person. and means you don't have to waste energy to icky ai (blehh) since, we try and focus on what matters!
