    UPDATE: High-Rise Fire on Hearn Road, Annapolis. One fatality from the fire apartment on the 10th floor. Fire Crews are still on scene. Fire Marshal Investigators are working to determine the origin & cause. Fire Inspectors are determining the safety of the building.

    High-Rise Apartment Fire: AACoFD and AFD crews are on scene of a high-rise apartment fire at 130 Hearn Rd, in Annapolis. The fire is under control. Crews are checking for extension into other apartments. Residents are encouraged to shelter in place.

    The county is aware that some public services are currently down and is actively working to restore access. 911 remains operational if you need to report emergencies, and 311 remains operational if you need to report concerns about county services. Thank you for your patience.
