Good job, Arvada!! This bear came into Arvada last weekend and was quickly moved along. By doing things like keeping bird feeders inside at night and securing trash cans, you eliminated this bear's food attractants, which are among the main reasons a bear will enter and stay in

This fire reportedly originated in the garage with extension into the residential structure. Firefighters have the bulk of the fire knocked down at this point and are working on overhaul. A road closure is in place along this block of Carr St.
