Bathams Racing pays tribute to Black Country racing legend Tony Rutter who sadly passed away earlier this year. Tony was a 4xWorld Champion and 8 times TT winner. His son @michaelrutter_ will race in tomorrows Superstock 1000cc race in his dads colours. @thebathams

Tomorrow’s Senior TT will be the very last time we race the Honda RCV. It costs £1000 per lap of the TT course in engine wear alone, but we have decided that if the @RobVineFund gets £1000 in donations overnight, we’ll do the morning warm up lap on it too robvinefund.im/donate/

Lots of photos of Taylors last race weekend, but we think this might be the most amazing of them all. Rutter making good on his Donington Park bet and handing over the £1000 he lost. Rumours that he kept £40 back to cover to cost of Taylors burnouts can’t be confirmed or denied…

Sad to lose two great champions today. Chrissy was one of our toughest rivals on track who everyone at Bathams Racing respected and admired a lot. Phil Read was a legend and often a team mate with Tony Rutter. Thanks both for all the great racing, and condolences to both families

UPDATE: The seat hump for our RCV was found. After receiving a quote from Honda for a replacement, we’ve decided to use a different one tonight. Thanks to the brilliant TT fans for looking. The person who found it has donated the Bathams beer to the TT Marshalls Association.
