- It’s is with sadness that after a period of poor health, dad passed away earlier today. I was with him when he died and he was peaceful. It makes me smile how dad lived his life exactly how he wanted to and how he got away with so much.
- Just wanted to share this picture of dad and let everyone know that it’s his funeral tomorrow. Obviously due to the current restrictions it has to be a very small service, so we’ll do something later in the year to celebrate him. I’ve been blown away by all the messages from

- I found out this week that dad is being remembered on tonight’s BBC Sports Personality awards show. I’m made up that the BBC are acknowledging his contribution to motorcycle racing. @bbcsport @thebathams #SPOTY2020
- Replying to @michaelrutter_He’ll be remembered for winning the World TT-F2 Championship 4 times, 7 TT wins, 9 NW200 wins and 2 British Championships in his 22 year career. - Just when I thought that life couldn’t get any worse with pubs closing for a month, a copy of “Unshakable” turns up. Thanks a lot @67Shakey ! Luckily I can’t read, so that’s an xmas present sorted for someone. Hope you enjoyed “The Life of a Racer” !
