    Our Novi students are literally the best ever! Tonight I had a NHS student share this: “Mr. Mainka, I am requesting a snow day tomorrow because Season 3 of Outer Banks drops tonight and me and the entire female population at NHS needs to watch all day tomorrow.” - Priceless

    What a moment today as the NHS Baseball team won their first MHSAA State Championship! This was years in the making - countless hours of BP, little league, travel ball, and it culminated in their dream of winning a title for their school! So proud of the coaches and boys!

    My kids were excited when they got their new school uniforms for the rest of the school year! Their names are on the back as well. We only have 4 kids in our academy, but somehow it reminds me of teaching a classroom of 35 middle school kids! #staypositive ⁦@MASASupts⁩

    One of the truest tests of a person’s character is how they respond when things do not go their way. It is much harder to focus on what is going well in the midst of a setback. However, learning and growing through failure is one of life’s secret gifts - one I am thankful for!
