    .#BREAKING Our clients in ICE detention aren't receiving basic disinfectants, hand sanitizer, or even toilet paper This is a public health emergency that ICE has proven unequipped to handle. We're demanding the immediate release of ppl currently detained by ICE in NYC-area jails

    Mayor de Blasio is reauthorizing the use of solitary confinement and suspending the minimal due process protections afforded to people on Rikers. Instead of implementing new rules to protect incarcerated people, the City is subjecting them to deadly conditions and torture. 1/4

    BREAKING: A federal judge today ordered an end to ICE's secret, illegal 'No-Release' policy in their NY office. The decision means that many people in detention will be promptly evaluated for release away from the growing COVID-19 crisis in ICE's jails. #FreeThemAll

    ***BREAKING*** A federal court just ruled that ICE are required to present detained immigrants before a judge within 10 days of being arrested. The ruling in response to our lawsuit w/ @NYCLU & @CardozoLaw will help protect the due process rights of immigrants against ICE abuse.
