    If you are shopping for a mother in your life: Avoid social media ads for last-minute Mother's Day gifts Always search the online seller followed by "scam" Be wary of upcharges to "guarantee delivery" -- This is a red flag Best way to avoid a scam = shop in person ✅

    ⚠️ SCAM TEXT MESSAGE WARNING ⚠️ CT DMV is aware of a scam text message about unresolved traffic citations. These messages are FRAUDULENT. We do NOT notify motorists via text regarding the status of unpaid violations. If you receive such a message, IGNORE and DELETE it.
