The man was shot while helping the mother with a flat tire.
- Yesterday, 008th District Officers recovered 3 handguns with extended magazines and 50 lbs of fireworks from the 5800 block of South Trumbull. 4 Offenders were taken into custody. Great job, officers! Citizens, if you notice suspicious activity, please call 911.

- One of our young residents, 10-year-old Giovanni Alonzo, used his creativity to help our officers. He 3D printed and donated “ear saver” bands so our officers would be more comfortable while wearing masks. Superintendent @ChiefDavidBrown met with him yesterday to thank him.
- Well Done! Yesterday 863 Tact Team & 800 responded to an armed robbery that occurred at T-mobile in 010 District that led into 008 District. All proceeds were recovered, handgun and offender taken into custody & positively identified by victims @Chicago_Police @ChiefDavidBrown

- 8th District Tactical officers in conjunction with Officers from The IDOC Parole Section made 5 arrests while conducting compliance checks. Recovered: 6 firearms, 2 of which were reported stolen, 4 body armor vests, 1.5 lbs of cannabis, and 1.5 kg cocaine. Excellent work!
