- Haven’t figured out why players are so hung up on “position”. If you’re in tune with higher levels of basketball, players have their main skill set (based on size, skills, etc) but play wherever their team needs them. Multiple positions=playing time.
- PLAYERS: You have very little control of the recruiting process. Coaches evaluate. Coaches make the calls. Coaches decide on visits. Coaches decide on offers. ADVICE: Stay ready. Be low maintenance. Patience. Right school-right offer….take it.
- One of the best things about coaching is seeing a player take constructive criticism, not respond, not respond, and then gets it. Being called out about your weaknesses stings....how you respond and grow from it is a testament to your toughness and character. #PersonalOwnership
