People that have never read any of Marco Rubio's essays since 2011 to now should give them a brief look. Specifically his speech in 2012. Beyond having sensible opinions about domestic policy, what stands out are his opinions on the western hemisphere. The current US push

Trump just clapped back at Colombian President Petro, who accused the U.S. of being on β€œstolen land,” in gangster fashion: "He's gotta watch his ass because he makes cocaine, and they send it into the U.S…he’s got factories and we know where they are.”

If you're having trouble retaining people, thats a you problem, not your employees problem. Anyone who doesnt jump jobs in this market is either unambitious, or just not that bright/career-oriented. Reward your top performers and its not a problem.

Not a single goth. No American Eagle or A&F big print shirts. Lack of Skater brands like Ecko. Nobody wearing Vans. Hats on inside. Purses and bags on campus. This came from the addled memory of an alcoholic millenial woman and not from any study of the time period.

I've convinced my mom to start using her China after watching it sit in a cabinet my entire life. She's genuinely much happier using it than she was treating it like an investment.

They're blocking all non-UK IPs. They will eventually figure out which UK IP ranges the VPNs are accessing and block those as well, but for now you can still harass them with a VPN.

An accurate map of the world and a drawing of a rocket ship leaving the planet headed to a big red circle in the sky. Imagine the lore we'd invent about Mars

There was a restaurant about 20 minutes from my university (this was considered far). They couldn't get a liquor license, so they had a keg and gave away free beer. The understanding was that you'd order food and tip well. We were poor college kids but we never ruined it.

The Giza plateau was covered in sand and used as a quarry because the locals thought the stones of the pyramids were good for homes. The Rosetta stone was being used as the wall of a cafeteria in a fort. They had no concern or appreciation for history before Europe arrived.

Vehicles displace air as they move, because we have an atmosphere. The drag comes from the atmosphere, not from the turbines. You could make an argument that there's turbulent flow adjacent to the turbine, but this is no different than driving by a parked car.
