People that have never read any of Marco Rubio's essays since 2011 to now should give them a brief look. Specifically his speech in 2012.
Beyond having sensible opinions about domestic policy, what stands out are his opinions on the western hemisphere.

Trump just clapped back at Colombian President Petro, who accused the U.S. of being on “stolen land,” in gangster fashion:
"He's gotta watch his ass because he makes cocaine, and they send it into the U.S…he’s got factories and we know where they are.”
