No one in Glasgow is going to allow any of our brilliant children to be racially abused. We’re so proud of all of them, and that’s the enduring message we send to all who would even think about abusing them. Not on our watch.

- As we close them, well done and thank you to everyone for their outstanding work in our Glasgow hubs. You are magnificent. #loveglasgow
- To all the fabulous staff in my North East schools. Thank you for everything you have done. Be under no illusions how important you are and how highly I value everything you do for our children and young people. You are magnificent.
- What a lovely last day in Renfrewshire. Great send off, a quiz, a Janie Poem (who knew?) lovely thank you from councillors and the directorate even walked me to the door….just to make sure I left,I suspect. I’ve loved working with the people in Renfrewshire. 😊
- Replying to @maureen0207 @heraldscotland and @EISUnionOur staff prepared learning - online and paper; opened schools; supported vulnerable children. They stepped up, they always do. Thank you.
- You know that way when you tell the people you work with you love Christmas!😂😂🎄
- My excellent tour guides at St Peter’s today. Jessica and, yes, Jessica. Showed me the cupboards and everything. What a job, house points to follow😊
- Had a great morning in @ChirnsydePS saw impressive learning and teaching and had great discussion with the headteacher about leadership of learning to improve outcomes. These are my 2 top guides Jack and Olivia. Olivia takes a mean selfie.
- Replying to @MrMcEnaneyIn my time as headteacher of 2 schools, I found school uniform contributed to a positive ethos and high expectations, giving young people a sense of pride, purpose and connection to our school. Importantly, was also an equaliser and took concern about “the right clothes”away.
- Couldn’t agree more, in all my discussions with headteachers, the thing they’ve said most is “our teachers have been brilliant.”Thank you @VonnSand @LadyCatHT - "Our teachers have been absolutely magnificent - absolute superheroes" and "It's night and day: Digital skills are keeping Glasgow pupils learning in lockdown'' @RosshallAcademy @sandaig_ps @crookstoncastle glasgowtimes.co.uk/news/19023469.…
- Now that’s a quote. Love that.As I always say to my pupils, “when we know better, we do better”
- Well done to all our schools, the Halloween pictures are magic. Had great fun looking at them all. Special stuff for our children.
- 100% of young people from EVIP programme secured a positive destination. Love it.
