    I pay over £100 a month to Sky and another chunk to BT. That’s already far too much and it’s absolutely shafting fans, in this of all moments, to ask for more on top as the only legal way to watch their team play. How much money do they want? Football is going to break.

    At this point, we’re just waiting for an announcement. The takeover is done, the money is there and the Premier League have signed it off. All that remains is to make it official. Could be any time now. #NUFC

    What a player Kieran Trippier is. The goal, yes, but set the tone for everything tonight, lifting his own players after the concession, snapping into tackles, taking no shit. Brilliant. #NUFC

    There may not be anything official tonight (although you never know with this deal …), but it’s safe to say we’re now entering the final hours of Mike Ashley’s ownership of #NUFC. It's been a frantic day. Lots to say on it, but at this stage I want to wait until it’s official.

    14 years of shit at #NUFC - yes, these things are relative - but Keegan’s treatment, Shearer’s treatment, Gutierrez’s treatment, 2 relegations, Sports Direct arena, Joe Kinnear as manager & DOF, Wonga, some of the worst football ever, “ticking over”, no communication, 10k … 1/2
