    I lost my father to #COVID19 I was tremendously fortunate to be at his side during his last few days in the ICU. He was a vaccinated physician who was helping work on additional clinical trials for the vaccine in Pakistan/1

    I am so lucky to have found #pathology 🙏🏾😍 🔬 Despite all the fear mongerers trying to dissuade me, the wrong generalizations, and the hesitation of not seeing patients directly, I am glad I persevered. I can’t think of anything more intellectually and professionally fulfilling

    A family of vaccinated physicians just lost a vaccinated and careful father/paternal figure. My father took every precaution and did everything right. Someone less careful put him at risk. Don’t wait till you are burying a loved one. Please take #COVID19 seriously.

    When choosing a place to train, institutional 'prestige' is good and all, but prioritize excellent mentorship, an atmosphere of inclusivity, diversity in spirit AND action, and sponsorship. If you find all in 1, it's a WIN. I will die on this hill. That's it. That's the tweet.

    Dear #TwitterFam - sorry to be MIA - in a stressful turn of events, both parents (despite vaccination and precautions) contracted #COVID19 in Pakistan and needed hospitalization. Mom getting better. Dad is in the ICU and progress is slow. Please keep my family in your prayers/1
