As the @Sgf_Cardinals season - and Jordan Walker's time in Double-A winds down - the most amazing stat to me: In 106 games, he's never gone more than two games in a row without a hit. That's only happened 3 times. Hitting .311 with 18 HR, 59 RBIs with .921 OPS.

I covered @MOStateFootball for 25 seasons, zero playoff appearances. Now the Bears are playoff-bound for the second time in seven months. Amazing job by @CoachBPetrino his staff and players.

Bradley University is a disgrace. Dave is the most professional beat writer, probably in MVC history. 🐐

Dave Reynolds is one of the most even-handed reporters I’ve worked with. He’s professional, the dean of MVC beat writers and someone I consider a model of how to do this job right. Most of all? He’s a good man who doesn’t deserve this garbage treatment. pjstar.com/sports/2019031…

Taking Greene County out of the #livepd lineup is like benching Lebron James.

If Yadi runs to the restricted list, he won’t get there until Monday.

I said it last week and I’ll say it again. This is one of Keith Guttin and Paul Evans’ best coaching jobs as @MSUBearBaseball takes outright MVC title. RPI should be 27-29 tomorrow.

Probably one of the great coaching jobs - beginning of season to finish - of any coach in any sport we’ve seen in our neck of the woods. @KellieHarper and staff. #Analysis

I still remember ‘Zo, when I had knee surgery, calling me in my hospital room, to offer encouraging words. I was groggy, but remember him saying, “Man, I know about bad knees.” #ClassAct

It was a tough loss in Columbia, but Mizzou head coach @CuonzoMartin did something he had never done in his coaching career - enter an opponents locker room. @MizzouHoops, you’ve got the epitome of class leading you. Maybe we’ll see you in March. #AxeEm

If the Rams lose, it would be heartbreaking for their fans, many of whom have been fans since at least Halloween.

Paul DeJong is a great example for anyone who faces adversity. Don’t complain. Go to work, keep your mouth shut, grind, come back and prove the doubters wrong. @Cardinals

Missouri State looked like a Top 25 team tonight. Talent. Hustle. Toughness. Too bad it’s taken 4 months to put it all together. But this is the weekend that matters.

Player development. Mixing and matching lineups and pitching roles. Gritty play and winning close games. @keithguttin and his coaches are wizards and #SGF should appreciate this program.

Coach Keith Guttin when asked how it feels for him, going back to the NCAA Tournament: “Pretty damn good.” Well-deserved. Congratulations to @MSUBearBaseball coached and players.
