- A lot of emphasis is placed on the reversal of the Sun's polar magnetic field and solar [sunspot] maximum. It would appear that the observations from the Wilcox Solar Observatory and the HMI instrument on SDO agree that the polar reversal has concluded.

👻 Spooky Season! 🎃 Yesterday, on the first day of October, our Sun fired off the second largest flare of Solar Cycle 25.
