Actually, I can’t think of a better example of liberals abusing calls to empathy than this insistence that it’s right or moral to have empathy for a violent third-world gang operating in our country. That’s called suicidal empathy, and its proponents cannot be trusted with power

I brush it until I do gag. I’ve just learned to deal with the gagging. Only way to get the back part of the tongue.

Curious to know your theory of the case. If Robert Roberson didn’t beat the ever living fuck out of his own 2-year-old daughter, then who do YOU think beat the ever living fuck out of Robert Roberson’s 2-year-old daughter, while she was home alone with him?

The south is the confederacy plus Missouri, Kentucky, West Virginia and Maryland. Yes, I know northern Missouri is more Midwestern, and western Texas is more like the West, and northern Texas is more like the Great Plains. It’s messy, and we have to draw the lines somewhere.

It’s me. I’m most people. Seriously, wtf is this about? Go to any small town in the Midwest and find its 50th-most-attractive woman, and she will be significantly more attractive than this frightening creature. I cannot conceive of a reason for Bezos to make this choice.

The hangup for many pitbull apologists, I suspect, is admitting that there is such a thing as a genetic predisposition to violence, given the implications for…other species. They don’t want to crack the door to that possibility in their own minds, lest it swing wide open.

He has been consistently and vocally pro-NASA for as long as he has been a public figure. He founded SpaceX, according to him, to try to increase NASA’s budget.

It’s never, “well, yes, he did it, but the state shouldn’t kill people.” That would at least be an intellectually honest argument. No—you have to pretend to be too retarded to reach the only possible conclusion supported by the facts of the case.

Look, argue that the death penalty is wrong per se, if that’s what you believe. I’m not entirely comfortable with it myself. But it’s amazing how every time a very-obviously-guilty murderer is about to be executed, death penalty opponents all insist that he’s innocent.

You laugh, but without deep tech technologies, we would not have ATM machines, VIN numbers, or GPS systems.

You know why? Because that’s all the demand there is for it. If people found trains useful, there would be a market incentive to expand the station and run more trains. There isn’t, because they don’t.
