Thank you to all of the people who worked tirelessly to get us through those times. I saw incredible kindness, dedication, ingenuity and heartbreak. It was a privilege to lead @WYpartnership @allofusinmind . Thoughts to those who lost their lives and to their families πŸ’™

Super proud of George who got a triple distinction in his level 3 BTEC. That’s like 3 A levels in old money. He inspires me every day with his positivity and belief that anything is possible. He works hard too!

Oh stop it! You mean unregistered staff if health care assistants, care workers, peer supporters. You mean IT, porters, facilities, procurement, cleaners, finance teams, technicians, managers, drivers, equipment store teams, receptionists, administrators etc needed to run it.

I’ve worked with 1000s of people over the last 30 years in health and care. Thanks to all of them for supporting me and for making a difference to so many lives. Whichever ones of you nominated me for my CBE, thank you. It means so much that you did.

When George was born with #DownSyndrome, we asked the consultant @LeedsHospitals what he would be able to do when he was older. β€œwho knows? Just enjoy your beautiful baby and let’s see.” Good advice. Just look what he has done now 😁 #Nibbies #britishbookawards #ThisIsMe
