Pranks, along with initiation rites (like in professional sports with rookies), are just bullying. Plain and simple, it's bullying. You are trying to get a reaction from someone, for the watcher's benefit. NEVER for the victim of the prank.

I work in healthcare IT. I would recommend you be terminated as a threat to patient safety with this attitude towards data protection. Leave your front door unlocked too. Using a key is so inconvenient. Post your PIN too, those are a pain.

Organizers should have to pay a "security deposit". If the area is clean when the event is over they get the money back. If not the money is used to hire someone to do the cleanup.

If I have to tell one more patient (pharm or not) that Jan 1 their deductibles reset I'll scream. That was my 1st thought about why it was $200. New deductible had to be met.

I just say know. I had a relative who came from overseas last year and I gladly set up camping chairs on the deck, in the cold, and had warm fluids and cold fluids. It was fine, but that was the condition. They didn't argue.

Even though I still have cats who sleep in my bed, I also have a stuffed cat that one of my kids gave me to sleep with when our first family cat died. Maybe that would bring you some relief?

I don't know people insist it was a non-event. We spent months and $ upgrading computers, patching programs, etc. Just so that the hospital would stay open. It was a non-event b/c people worked to make it so.
