BREAKING: The NLRB has ruled that if bosses commit unfair labor practices in the run-up to a union election then the election will be canceled and the Board will order the employer to immediately recognize and bargain with the union. Union-busting just got a lot harder.

Update from the Sierra Club bargaining table: Today management proposed to take away existing contract language to eliminate our right to a 7% raise (minimum!) when members experience a substantial increase in workload. AKA, they want us to work more for less pay.

Between May 2023-July 2024, Sierra Club has laid off over 200 staff and has not given cost-of-living raises, citing a budget deficit… but Sierra Club executives gave themselves massive raises & bonuses at the end of 2023. Clearly Sierra Club is not immune to corporate greed…
