When I was 11 or 12 this boy would follow me around school singing the Toyota jingle at me until I would cry/meltdown because my 5 year old brother and I had been hit by a car when I was 10 and he died One day after months of bullying I snapped and bounced his face off a pole

1st grade this bully named Mitch slapped & taunted an autistic friend & ripped the limbs from a baby redwood sapling my arborist dad planted at our school. So I punched him in the face. He cried & we dubbed him “Mitch the Bitch” which stuck. No more bully behavior after that!

He stopped tormenting me over the death of my brother and the physical recovery process I was still going through. I went directly to the office sobbing and told them everything. I somehow did not get suspended with a full confession. I was rather disappointed.

I was struggling to walk so he thought i was an easy target. He missed the part where I'd been dragging myself all around the McDonald's play area with my L wrist and both legs in full casts all summer when I needed out of my chair so I had wildly unexpected upper body strength

I'm going to be very blunt about this. We are about to see a LOT more people in need of mutual aid to cover food between the soaring food prices and the last vestiges of our societal safety nets being dismantled. People are going to starve without community support.

So this is actually a pretty big deal. You know how in the disability community how we joke that we are all passing around the same $20? In a closed system money can't circulate once it goes out its gone - its scarcity on a new level. He's still participating in Mutual Aid anyway

Maybe health insurance CEOs should just stay in their homes forever. It's what everyone keeps telling me to do as a disabled person when people make it unsafe for me to be part of public life: Stay home if you're afraid.

Okay as a disabled person, the air fryer is a game-changer. I haven't eaten anywhere close to this healthily since before LC. I just air-fried gnocchi with cherry tomatoes and Holy shit I missed fresh hot real food that was cooked and not reheated and rubberized in the microwave
