A response to Dr Peter Hilton – and all those who share his abhorrent views.
Statement reads: The attitudes demonstrated in your letter, are part of the problem we are working to eradicate. Our colleagues have been bravely sharing their experiences of sexual harassment and assault, and it is unfathomable that you would respond as you have, but it clearly demonstrates the problem we face.
We call on all our members to check their biases, conscious and unconscious, and remind them that we are committed to condemn, call out and report this behaviour. We will not tolerate sexual misconduct of any kind, or bullying, in our profession, and we will continue to work closely with others to ensure change happens
