Congratulations @AngelaRayner on your appointment as Deputy Prime Minister. It's always great to see public figures role-modelling inclusion, and we've loved seeing Angela's posts sharing her sign language skills. Here's a throwback to her Sign Language Week post this year. ⬇️

We love @NUFC’s very own Dan Burn’s BSL celebration today! 🤟 The deaf fans met Trippier and Burn before today and taught them how to sign “love the fans”. Such a lovely gesture from him to do this during today’s match! 💚

What a day! It was so great to be at St. James’ Park yesterday to cheer on @NUFC as they took to the pitch with the RNID logo on their shirts. ⚽ We loved the reaction of #NUFC deaf fans and mascots who experienced the atmosphere of the game like never before. (1/2)

Where’s the British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter @10DowningStreet? Calling a #GeneralElection is one of the biggest moves our country can make – deaf people deserve to have that information at the same time as everyone else. This is not good enough! (1/2)

A huge congratulations to @tasha_f_stones from all of us at RNID for becoming the first deaf contestant to appear in the #BakeOff tent! 👏 Good luck to the #GBBO finalists, but Tasha takes first place for raising deaf awareness over the last 9 weeks. Representation matters! 🙌

Amazing news!🎉 Today is a HUGE step towards making BSL a legal requirement. A historical moment for BSL users all over the UK and a fitting tribute to all those who have advocated for years for inclusion. Thank you to everyone who wrote to their MP and supported #BSLActNow

Disappointed to see that @Keir_Starmer also launched his campaign without a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter. If he becomes Prime Minster on 5 July, he should make sure that his first speech to the nation is accessible to deaf people. We hope @vickyfoxcroft supports this.
