    Completely humiliating for the Coalition. Vindication for a Premier & a party winning 3 fixed terms in a row. (Done before in Aus?) Media who wrote conspiracy theories & fuelled them & said this was the worst govt in Oz history might want to ask themselves some questions.

    My father died last night, 1 day short of his 81st birthday. Every time you hear a furious debate about a political issue, just pray there is someone like Joe Epstein inside the system, trying to work out how to make policy a reality. 1/3

    If you thought Twitter was wild today.. We just did 30 minutes of talkback and people in Melb and Vic are.. angry.. white hot furious. A few are willing to send the vax north.. but not many.. This feels like a very distressing & important day in the history of this pandemic

    Zero cases. A nod to those who said you can’t lockdown after just 10 or 12 cases A nod to everyone who said lockdowns are only needed when contact tracers have lost control And a nod in the other direction.. to epidemiologists who use modelling & have real world experience

    NSW our thoughts are with you. VIC, the numbers are worrying. Melb knows what it feels like. Tuff restrictions & no end in sight. Thoughts and 🧵 Back in 2020, Vic govt made big mistakes. So did State Oppsn pushing for reopening before our 2nd wave. So did media. (1)
