Today, our coalition of riders, advocates, and community leaders stood together on the steps of City Hall to demand an expanded Fair Fares program with higher income limits for working-class New Yorkers, automatic enrollment, and fare-free transit for riders who currently

You did it, @GovKathyHochul! Time to start congestion pricing. Immediately.

Great question! If the current Mayor won't implement data-backed, common sense measures to speed up the nation's slowest buses after 3.5 years in office, maybe our next Mayor will?

The 14th Street Busway has been a smashing success: faster commutes, fewer crashes, calmer streets. So why is Eric Adams blocking a similar plan for 34th Street?

Congestion pricing is working so well, even the Post is struggling to make "It's working exactly as intended" sound bad. Of course, "commuters" here = the handful who still chose to drive to Lower Manhattan despite the toll and not the *85%* already getting there via transit.

HUGE shoutout to @transitapp for boosting our call action to hundreds of thousands of riders all across the city! If @GovKathyHochul thinks she's heard the last of riders who are FURIOUS about this $15B backstab, let us be very clearβ€”we're just getting started.

Judge Engoron has DENIED @GovKathyHochul's motion to dismiss our lawsuit! It's high time for the Governor to end this embarrassing game before she's inevitably compelled to by the courts.

The Americans with Disabilities Act was signed 34 years ago today. While we’ve made progress since then, people with disabilities still face discrimination every day. New York will never stop fighting until every person can pursue their dreams and live a life of dignity.

There's actually nothing for @GovKathyHochul to "mull over". That's the job of the Traffic Mobility Review Board, who, per the state law Queen Hochul believes she's above, has already voted on a $15 toll. She should mull that over with her lawyers before we see her in court.

The Senate just adjourned until 430p tomorrow afternoon. At that point, Chuck Schumer is expected to be Senate majority leader after the three new Democratic senators are sworn in and after Kamala Harris becomes Vice President.
