    I've reluctantly cancelled my website that links to my past poetry projects partly due to expense/returns & but also because it's an easy way for muppets to send abuse into my inbox. If you want to support my work here's a list of my books ( library loans work just as well too!)

    Dear @PhilipPullman, I was very disappointed to hear you describe me as a 'hateful voice'. Given that you don't know me, I thought I'd introduce myself. I am a trained teacher of special needs who has 30+ yrs experience with vulnerable, and sometimes very challenging children

    One was welcomed into a library for a children's event. One was refused entry to speak in a library about feminism. Make it make sense.

    Over the decades I've worked with young women/girls requiring intimate care no males have EVER been allowed this access. This is not progress, it's a safeguarding nightmare.

    Tonight, 3 lads jumped the barriers at the train station. When asked not to by a female worker, one lad shouted back 'F**k off you cunt. Bitch' Couldn't help myself & bellowed 'Mind...Your...Language' in my best teacher voice. He squared up but I kept my gaze. He apologised. 👍

    I wonder if Neil Gaiman will get a phone call from his publisher telling him his former illustrator will 'now have to distance himself from the author' because of allegations? Or was it just me that the aforementioned illustrator's PR team felt needed distancing from? #misogyny

    Remember, a number of those in the book industry who are outraged a woman has lost her bookseller job for stating she will bin an author's books are the very same people who retweeted a direct call for my 'author visit' agency to drop me because I'm not 'entitled to an income'.
