This is nuts. It will cost Chris £15,000 to replace two rotting windows. The windows themselves only cost £5,000. So, why so expensive? Answer: Chris needs to get approval from Westminster Council and the Building Safety Regulator.

Wait let me get this straight, statisticians who can’t predict a single coin toss are now telling us how many times heads will come up (to the nearest 50) if we flipped a coin 10,000 times? 🤔

There is something deeply wrong when a law passed with cross-party consensus and endorsed by Britain's most trusted charities has made it impossible to run an internet forum for hamster owners.

London's Metropolitan Police have objected to the opening of a new jazz bar in Covent Garden because criminals might target drunk jazz fans leaving at 1am. Let's sack the person at the Met whose job is to object to planning applications and put the money into tackling theft.

Is Britain getting a bad deal? @Ben_A_Hopkinson and I looked at 242 infrastructure projects across 14 different countries. Our conclusion? It costs more to build new tram systems, railways, and roads in Britain than almost anywhere else in the world. 🧵
