Voice acting, video essays & whatnot! If it's about Street Fighter, Q or G, I'll talk your ear off!

Things are getting worse, yet coverage is slowing down. Don't forget about Gaza, keep talking, spreading the word, doing what you can. People need help, people need to know they're not forgotten.
When conversations about why the MCU nanotech suits are bad, I think of stuff like this & Tokusatau. There's some actual flair here, it's got style- not just barely shifting & magicking on a suit.
This is too much, being in shape is one thing, but for ages we've had the unending, unattainable creeping level of fitness for superheroes. Look at how much BIGGER Hugh Jackman had to get as Wolverine each time; compare X-men 1 to Days of Future Past.
Paul Rudd says he had a “horrible” and “restrictive” diet for playing Ant-Man.
“My reward was sparkling water. That’s how horrible that diet was. I was like, ‘Alright, I can have some sparkling water now, I’ve earned it.’”

I get Batman is darkness & vengeance, but too many modern adaptations forget to bundle the badass with the empathy. I loved the 90s series where, as dark as things got, there were moments of hope, Batman would kick the crap out of evil, but he'd jump on a chance to rehabilitate.

With all the discussion about T'challa after Chadwick's tragic passing, this odd shelving of T'challa is what I feared. I hope this is not true because eliminating this character outside of the comics is NOT a tribute. I've never seen this done for anyone else & it bothers me.
That’s crazy there’s a legit studio mandate not to put T’Challa in stuff anymore due to Chadwick passing that extends even on a damn animated series
What’s the logic?
Why is MCU Black Panther stuff affecting projects that have nothing to do with #XMen97
He's a PROFESSIONAL voice actor with years upon years of experience in things outside of Nintendo. He's been in the original Jojo dub, Skyrim & more. If he had to modify the Mario voice for wider appeal, he could do it in a heartbeat.
Really think about it, in the past, Harrison Ford as Indy was suave, manly, badass, but he didn't need an 8 pack, neither did any of the Bonds or Keaton, or other protags. It's now a requirement to be in this shape, but it's never enough, they always have to be bigger each time.
I understand the idea, but it's chasing an unstable path. Getting fit is one thing, but they're making all these guys go to the extreme just for a shirtless scene & they gotta go more extreme each time. It's not just dudes like Thor. Antman's not known for being jacked, and yet.
Capcom has a fantastic cache of properties, but they DO NOT need to all be tied to 1 universe like Marvel. I absolutely miss Darkstalkers, but inserting it into Street Fighter's world would be a terrible idea.
I'm not even asking for dramatic speeches or Toku posing, but some good tension, camera work, and tactile oomf goes far. I'll always love the Ironman 2 suit up scene

I keep seeing this take, but why do folks think he'd struggle with entire sentences when he can do a full on interview in character in features like this?

If you don't wanna hear it is one thing, but people keep doubting his talent & not understanding VO.
