- Singapore convened an informal #FOSS dialogue with UNSG @antonioguterres on "An Update on the UN80 Initiative: The Road Ahead". Had a fruitful exchange on how small states can actively shape reform efforts to strengthen the multilateral system and ensure more effective delivery.
- 🇸🇬, with 🇫🇯🇯🇲🇲🇹, was pleased to host a workshop organised by @ISBAHQ on interactions between the ISA and BBNJ Agreement bodies and processes. Distinguished speakers included ISA Secretary-General Leticia Carvalho and BBNJ IGC President Amb Rena Lee @RenaLeeForICJ
- 🇸🇬 co-hosted with @AOSISChair,🇵🇪,🇵🇹, 🇷🇴,🇹🇷 the final report of the International Law Commission on sea-level rise and international law, with @BogdanAurescu, @PatrciaGalvoTe1, @niluferoral, Prof Juan José Ruda Santolaria, @RenaLeeForICJ and Prof Lan Ahn Nguyen as guest speakers.

A milestone for our oceans! The #BBNJ Agreement has reached 60 ratifications, paving the way for entry into force by Jan 2026. Congratulations to @RenaLeeForICJ for her leadership in bringing this agreement to life.
- Pleased to host this event with the High Seas Alliance and the UNSW Centre for Sustainable Development Reform.At #BBNJ PrepCom2, one question guided the room: How do we build a financial mechanism that meets the urgency of marine conservation—without leaving anyone behind? From reporting fatigue to direct access, speakers called for a Special Fund that is equitable, and effective.
