Last night, I was proud to be elected as Board member of the African Caribbean Community Initiative. ACCI was set up in 1987 out of concern of the disproportionate number of Rastafarian men in psychiatric wards @RWT_NHS Rooted in our communities @TobyLewis_NHS @david_loughton

What a day in May 1988 was for the NHS when @sheilalloyd19 walked through the 🚪 in her student nurse uniform. It was a real privilege to share a moment with her on retirement @rdash_nhs and to see the Gold award from @CNOWales 🏅 @TobyLewis_NHS @KathLavery 🫶🏾🙌🏾👊🏾
