Last weekend @Glinner, an account with half a million followers, sent his terf army to harass me. This led to over 900 comments & QTs attacking me & an email to my employer. If this is the abuse a cis male gets for supporting trans rights, imagine what trans people suffer daily.

For all of the people outside of Aotearoa New Zealand sharing this video, here's some context for what the haka was about: In short, a party who received 8% of the vote want to rewrite our constitutional document to remove rights for indigenous Māori.

For those interested in the man the haka was directed at, his name is David Seymour and in Aotearoa NZ he's known for accepting donations from white supremacists, joking about blowing up the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, and Snapchatting 14-year-old girls.

I share this, not to center myself, but to reveal the obsessive hatred that trans people deal with. Last weekend rattled the echo chambers of "gender criticals" who had, until PP's disastrous tour, seen themselves as a majority. Aotearoa's protests showed them they're not 🏳️‍⚧️✊
