    Empty seats continue to be a factor at this World Championship. Nothing enormously newsworthy. Nothing earth-shattering. But definitely a factor, and an irritation for many snooker fans. Look at this row of empty seats at the front while Mark Selby was playing tonight. #Snooker

    Hardly a rocket science observation, but Alan McManus really is a wonderful broadcaster. You learn something new - often a few things - every time he calls a match. He's very good company for the viewer too. Top voice of the game.

    Ronnie O'Sullivan beats Mark Williams 10-9 at the Tour Championship. As Phil Yates said, what a shame there had to be a loser. Congratulations to both players. Magnificent skills, compelling drama. What a wonderful advert for the game we all love.
