    DOOM 1 is 27 today. I was 27 when I worked on DOOM. THIS MEANS SOMETHING. Anyway, Happy Anniversary DOOM! An honor to work on such an amazing game with super-talented folks.

    Happy 30th anniversary, DOOM II! I had left id by that time, but was surprised by one of my DOOM 1 level's architectures winding up in the game! #DOOM2 #DOOM (I thiiink it was this one... would have to dig up my notes, heh.)

    I want shorter games that busy / work-life-play-balanced folks can finish. AND an easy mode in all games (it would be okay if it unlocks after playing โ€œfor realโ€ โ€œthe way it should beโ€ for an hour).

    Itโ€™s just not #CommanderKeen. To be honest, it feels like the 2005 DOOM movie, like an IP awkwardly slapped on something that already existed. It deserves better. It smells like a Biz Deal game.

    25 YEARS since id released the seminal First-Person Shooter, DOOM. When @romero, @ID_AA_Carmack, Adrian Carmack, and I founded id, we were just happy to make a living making games. Our pursuit of our passion led to some really fun, amazing games! HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY, DOOM!
